FAQs

Meraki Studio creates handmade jewellery in sterling silver and 9ct gold, including impression print jewellery capturing fingerprints, paw prints and nose prints, as well as rings, necklaces, bracelets, earrings and gemstone pieces. Every piece is made by hand with care and intention on Gadigal Land, Sydney.

Impression print jewellery is made using a real fingerprint, paw print or nose print pressed into soft jeweller’s wax. That impression is then transformed into solid metal using the traditional lost wax casting technique, preserving the fine details of the original print. Each piece is completely unique.

All jewellery is made using solid sterling silver or solid 9ct gold. Where possible, recycled gold and silver are used. All metals are nickel-free and suitable for sensitive skin.

Most handmade jewellery takes approximately 2 to 3 weeks to complete. Fully custom designs may take longer. You will always be kept informed throughout the making process.

Yes. Handmade and custom jewellery makes a deeply meaningful gift. If you are short on time or unsure of someone’s preferences, a Meraki Studio gift card is a beautiful option and allows the recipient to choose or create a piece that’s meaningful to them.

Wax kits are also a popular gifting option, as they allow the recipient to capture fingerprints, paw prints or nose prints at home and have their jewellery created afterwards. This is especially popular around Christmas, Father’s Day and other special occasions.

Yes. Meraki Studio offers free repairs for life on all handmade pieces. This ensures your jewellery can be worn, loved and passed down for years to come.
