Pet Print Jewellery

Heirloom-quality solid silver and 9ct gold jewellery handcrafted directly from your pet's unique paw or nose impressions.

FAQs

Pet print jewellery is created using a physical wax impression of your pet’s paw or nose. This works beautifully for dogs and cats alike. Once your order is placed, I’ll send you a wax impression kit with instructions to guide you through the process. When your impressions are returned, I prepare the wax for casting and use the traditional lost wax casting technique to create an identical replica in solid sterling silver or 9ct gold, preserving every unique detail.

Yes. If you already have a clay paw print or nose print from your veterinarian or pet crematorium, I may be able to create jewellery from it without taking a new wax impression. This is a popular option for memorial keepsakes when a new impression isn't possible. You can also visit my <a href="/pages/memorial-fingerprint-impressions">Memorial Impression Jewellery</a> page to learn more about the impression methods I can work with.

Yes. The impression wax is non-toxic and pet safe. It only takes a few seconds to capture a paw print or nose print, and full instructions are included to help make the process as quick and stress free as possible for both you and your pet.

Yes. All of our rings and pendants can hold two impressions, however capturing two pet impressions on one piece can sometimes be a little tricky. If you’re looking to include both your own fingerprint and your pet’s print on the same piece, this works beautifully. Two impressions can be placed side by side, or a double-sided pendant allows for one print on the front and one on the back, which is also very easy to take.

If you’re hoping to include multiple pet impressions on a single piece, I recommend choosing our family fingerprint bar. This design allows you to take two impressions from each pet, one at either end of the wax, making it a great option for multiple prints.

Yes. Laser engraving is available for $80. Pendants can be engraved with up to 8 characters, and ring bands can be engraved with up to 5 words. Engraving is a lovely way to include your pet’s name or a meaningful date.

Why Choose Impression Pet Print Jewellery?

Every pet leaves their own unique mark on our lives, and impression pet print jewellery captures that connection in a way that engraving simply can't. Using your dog's paw print or nose print, each piece begins with a real wax impression before being individually handcrafted using the traditional lost wax casting technique. This preserves the natural depth, texture and tiny details of your pet's original impression within the finished jewellery itself.

Every piece is handcrafted by me in my Sydney studio on Gadigal Land and cast in solid sterling silver or 9ct gold. While most keepsakes are created using dogs' paw and nose prints, beautiful jewellery can also be made from cat paw prints. Rings and pendants can feature two impressions side by side, while double-sided pendants allow one impression on the front and another on the back.

If you'd like to create something even more personal, your fingerprint can be combined with your pet's impression to celebrate the bond you share. For families wanting multiple pet impressions on one piece, the Family Fingerprint Bar Pendant is often the perfect choice. Gemstones and personalised laser engraving can also be added to create a truly one-of-a-kind keepsake.
