Each piece is handcrafted using your unique impressions. Once I receive your impressions, please allow 2-3 weeks for your piece to be created.

Wax Kit Included

This classic pendant is handcrafted in sterling silver to capture all the intricate details of your loved one’s fingerprint. Each unique keepsake is shaped organically by how you work the wax. This size features a generous surface area, allowing you to choose a single print, a reversible double-sided layout, or two prints side-by-side.

Note for infant prints: Baby fingerprints often aren't fully defined until 12 months. For infants under one, I recommend capturing the beautiful, unique creases and folds in between their fingers instead.

Dimensions

As each piece is handmade, the dimensions may vary slightly from piece to piece.

Shape & Thickness: Your pendant will mirror the shape, size and thickness of your unique wax impression.
Typical Dimensions: Our classic size pendants are usually around 15mm.
The Bail: Our standard circular bail is roughly 4mm. This can be customised to any size to fit your favourite chain - just include your preferred size in the order notes.

Shipping & Timeframes

Your wax impression kit will be dispatched within 2 business days.
A prepaid returns label will be included to return your completed impressions back to me (Aus & NZ customers only).
Once I receive your wax impressions, it takes approximately 2-3 weeks for your finished piece to be ready.
We are based in Sydney. You are welcome to use the AusPost shipping calculator to estimate delivery times.

Warranty & Returns

Because each impression print piece is completely custom-made from your unique fingerprint, paw, or nose wax moulds, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges for change of mind.

How It Works

Step 1.

Once your order is placed, I'll send you a wax impression kit with everything you need to capture your impression.

Step 2.

Follow the easy step-by-step instructions to take your impressions using the soft jeweller's wax provided.

Step 3.

Check that your finished impression looks crisp and clear, then return your wax using the pre-paid label.

Step 4.

Through lost-wax casting, I'll transform your unique wax impressions into a beautiful piece of forever jewellery.

What is the "organic" shape of the classic fingerprint pendant?

Thia classic pendant maintains the natural, organic shape created when you press into the wax. Unlike the mini version, I do not shape it into a circle; instead, I preserve the full silhouette formed by your touch, creating a one-of-a-kind fingerprint necklace that feels truly unique.

How many prints can a classic fingerprint necklace hold?

Our classic fingerprint necklace features a generous surface area, comfortably holding a single clear fingerprint, two fingerprints side-by-side, or a double-sided layout with impressions on both the front and back.

Can I do a double-sided print from two children?

Absolutely. The classic size is perfect for siblings. Depending on their ages, you may need to assist them to ensure enough even pressure is applied to the wax to get a nice clear impression on both sides of your fingerprint necklace. Your wax impression kit will include instructions and tips for taking double-sided impressions with children.

Can I capture a fingerprint from a newborn or young baby?

Absolutely. While babies under 12 months often don’t have fully defined fingerprints yet, capturing the unique lines and creases between the folds of their fingers is a beautiful alternative that creates a distinct, organic texture.

My loved one has already passed, but I have clay impressions. Can you use these to create my fingerprint jewellery?

Yes, in most cases I can work with your existing clay impressions. As long as there is visible texture in the clay, I can use it to craft your piece. Please get in touch so I can confirm its suitability.

Can I add a custom birthstone to my impression piece?

Absolutely. All fingerprint and pet print pieces can be customised with a single or multiple birthstones. Please send me a message so we can discuss your design ideas and provide a custom quote.

I want to create a piece featuring fingerprints from two separate people. Can I take two impressions and have you join them together?

Unfortunately, due to the soft, delicate nature of the jewellery wax, I cannot join two separate pieces of wax together. If you are hoping for a double-sided or side-by-side keepsake, both impressions must be captured simultaneously on the exact same piece of wax.
