Because these pieces are deeply personal and made using your impressions, there are a few important things to know before ordering.
Every piece is one of a kind
Each item is handcrafted through a very organic process. Shape, thickness, size and finish will vary slightly depending on how your impression is taken. No two pieces are ever the same, and that is part of what makes your jewellery so special.
Your impression matters
Your finished piece will reflect the impression you create. Please take your time and follow the instructions included in your kit. You are very welcome to send me photos of your wax impressions before posting them back. I am always happy to check them over and offer guidance.
If an impression is not usable
I can gently refine small imperfections, but I cannot recreate missing detail. If an impression cannot be used, a new wax impression kit will need to be purchased so you can try again.
Wax impressions and leftovers
Each wax impression is used to create one piece of jewellery. I do not keep unused wax after your piece is complete. If you would like any leftover wax returned with your finished jewellery, just let me know when you send your impressions back.
Metal pricing and timeframes
Due to fluctuating metal prices, your completed wax impressions need to be returned within 6 months of purchase. Impressions received after this time may incur an additional fee.
Returns and repairs
As these pieces are custom made just for you, returns or refunds are not available. All impression print jewellery come with free repairs for life, so your piece can be loved and worn for years to come.
Infant and older fingerprints 👶
Babies under 12 months do not yet have fully defined fingerprints, and some older fingerprints may be faint. A beautiful alternative is capturing the natural creases and folds of the fingers, which is covered in the instructions included with your kit. I recommend familiarising yourself with these examples before taking impressions.
