We preserve their unique touch in solid sterling silver or 9ct gold and can work with funeral homes, palliative care providers, and other services. If time is limited, alternative methods can capture a print without a wax kit. See below for details or contact us for assistance.

1. Choose Your Jewellery

Once you've placed your order, we’ll send a wax kit with everything you need to take your fingerprint or pet print impressions.

2. Take Your Prints

Your wax kit includes step-by-step instructions for taking your impressions. Once complete, simply return your wax prints using the prepaid label provided.

3. Shaping & Casting

We shape your wax impressions and prepare them for casting. Using the lost wax technique, your wax is then replaced with molten silver or gold.

4. Final Touches

After casting, your piece is shaped, hand-polished and any customisations added. Your finished piece is then carefully packaged in a beautiful gift box.

We understand that sometimes time is of the essence, and you may need to work quickly to capture prints.
If you don't have time to receive a wax kit, you can use the following alternatives:

1. Silicone Moulding Putty (Best Option)

Can be purchased on Amazon.
Use a two-part moulding putty such as Pebeo Gedeo Siligum or Pinkysil.
Mix, press the fingertip into the putty, and let it set before sending it to us.

2. Polymer Clay (Good Alternative)

Can be purchased in most craft stores such as Spotlight or Eckersley's.
Captures fine details but requires baking.
Use soft polymer clay (e.g., Sculpey or Fimo).
Press the fingertip into the clay, bake per instructions, and send it to us.

3. Air-Dry Clay (Last Resort)

Can be purchased in most craft stores such as Spotlight or Eckersley's.
Less reliable and fragile but can work in urgent cases.
Press the fingertip into moist clay and let it dry completely before sending.

Permanent Moulds for Future Keepsakes

If you'd like to create multiple pieces from one wax print or have the option for future keepsakes, a permanent mould can be made from your loved one’s fingerprint or pet’s impression. This mould is securely stored, allowing more pieces to be crafted without needing to retake the print.
